ABOUT US

The name 'Bloeiende Ruimtes' (Blooming Spaces) comes from the private garden 'De Bloeiende Hof', which has belonged to the family for generations. We believe every open space should be turned into a blooming, green space, so this name for our company was only logical.

As a team, we want to show our clients that lots of plants and minimal maintenance go together well. Paved gardens boxed in by timber are a thing of the past; we would rather see them greener.

We are happy to guide you through this process and show you a new world of gardening.

Jelle is a passionate plant lover, creative garden designer and co-owner of 'Bloeiende Ruimtes'. He has his own design company, Jelle Koot Tuinontwerp & Advies, through which he takes on commissions and then has them built by our garden specialists. He believes a garden project benefits when every part of it is handled in-house. That is how you guarantee great service and quality.

In July 2023, Romy decided to change course and join the core of Bloeiende Ruimtes. With her organisational skills, creativity and perfectionism, she takes care of the organisation from A to Z.

Our gardens have featured in Gardens Illustrated (June 2023) and Seasons (May 2023). In 2025 we did a garden makeover in Rotterdam together with LekkerWONEN.
